The events will take place in March and July, both in Rio de Janeiro (RJ).
The Inception Meeting will mark the official launch of S20 Brasil 2024 and will bring together representatives from the National Academies of Sciences of G20 countries, national and international observer organizations, and guests. The main objective of the Summit will be the approval of thematic documents and the official communiqué of S20 Brasil 2024, concluding the process initiated in the March meeting.
March 11-12, Rio de Janeiro (RJ)
The S20 Inception Meeting will mark the official beginning of S20 Brazil 2024 and will bring together representatives from the national Academies of sciences of the G20 countries, national and international observer organizations, and invited participants.
During the meeting, S20 members will have the opportunity to present their considerations on the topics introduced by the S20 Brazil 2024 task forces. Additionally, high-level speakers will deliver presentations to stimulate the discussions. Observer organizations and invited participants will also have the opportunity to contribute.
Finally, the national Academies of sciences will convene to collectively define the next steps in the development process of thematic documents and the official communiqué of the S20 Brazil 2024.
